A couple days ago, the Yankees won the World series, beating the Phillies 4 -2. Right now, I'm typing this as the tickertape parade is going on. I'm not what you would call a diehard fan, but the Yankees winning the World Series is something that definitely made my day. In fact, it was so big that school was let out just for this. (just kidding, it was for... I dunno. Maybe my principal is psychic).
